Following the completion of the school year in June, Coach Shofe had the entire Senior team bring in their report cards in order to get an idea of how they're doing academically. Well, the results are in and they are quite remarkable. The Senior teams have a combined grade point average of 3.80 on a 4.0 scale. This is an unbelievable achievement considering their schedules. Coach Shofe had the following to say: "I personally have never coached a group with this high of a GPA. Consider that 31 swimmers in the Spring practiced M-W-F 5:00 to 6:30 AM and M-F 3:15 to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 7:30 to 10:30 AM. We should all be proud of the hard work these kids are putting into academics and swimming. What a great example our older swimmers are setting for the younger swimmers on our team."
