3A Schools:

Sarasota High School
The 3A Sailors, coached by Shark coach Sherwood Watts, are poised to make a strong run for the title in 2009 with the main strength of their team returning from 2008, plus several strong 9th graders. The girls finished 7th in the state last year and the boys were 17th. In 2009, the Sailor teams should be close to the form which won them back to back (2001 & 2002 boys) 3A Florida state high school titles.
